Here’s what happened in the past week with Ethan and unschooling. Something I should mention is that not many people are aware of unschooling, even though it’s been around since the 1970s. Many people have a perception of homeschooling as school at home, rather than as a way for a student to be more in control of their own education.
There’s also the misconception that home learners do not get enough socialization or that they have behavioural or learning disabilities. We hope our blog and what Ethan does can help parents and children better understand the educational options that are available to them.
