Pro D Day was always a hard day because we would have to think of things to do for Ethan. But since he’s become a home learner, we find that it’s not too hard to find things to do, especially since Ethan mostly leads the way. However, we did sign him up for a Pro D Day activity at the library and community centre today.

Starting the day off with a sandwich! Always nice, especially when he helps make it.

He does enjoy the history book, so we’ll have to see what other learnings we can extract.

And of course, he’s really into the coding games book, as well as the 26-story treehouse book.

When it was time to head to the library for the Pro D Day activity, Ethan took advantage of the nice weather and rode his bike.

And used this giant log as a seesaw.

The activity was a book commercial making class, which Ethan seemed to like but didn’t have much to say about it afterward.

Next activity was at the community centre, where he would stay for most of the night. His taekwondo school was hosting a pizza and movie night.

And once Ethan got home, he worked on some more Scratch games and made this one where you have to avoid the asteroids and shoot at them, too.

Pretty fun for a Pro D Day, even for an unschooler.
