and the sun formed! around the sun, there was still a spinning disk. Over time, it cooled and came together with magnetism & gravity. further from the sun, water and other gases started to form. those made Jupiter, which gradually moved in due to drag. then, Saturn formed, which pulled it out to where it is today. also, Jupiters immense gravity stopped things forming between Mars & Jupiter, and couldn’t form planets. that’s the asteroid belt! in the inner solar system, the clumps of rock formed Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. then, the sun burped! No, seriously. it let out a coronal mass ejection(CME). the CME blew out all the rocks from the inner planets and pushed the gasses away to Uranus & Neptune, which gobbled it up. the leftover ice collected in the Oort cloud. the ice got flung into the inner solar system sometimes, bring water. the earth’s moon formed because of a collision, as did a bunch of other things, venus got spun the wrong way because of a collision, and Uranus got tipped because of a collision! cool, and weird! cool!
